Hi,
Last week each student created a visual representation of either Thomas Jefferson or Alexander Hamilton. Each poster represented their person’s views on five different issues. On Monday, the students will wrap up this project by analyzing primary source quotes and identifying whether the quote was stated by Alexander Hamilton or Thomas Jefferson.
On Tuesday, we will start our next unit: Manifest Destiny in a Growing Nation. The main focus this week will be on the Louisiana Purchase, the Lewis & Clark Expedition, and the War of 1812.
On Friday, we will have guests from various High Schools come to talk with the students about TechPrep.

Write journal entry from the perspective of William Clark. Journals must include:
1. Date (on handout)
2. It should attempt to accurately describe the scene (on handout)
3. It must contain the words and phrases on handout
4. It should be roughly 1 page in length
